Copper Foiling Taster Days

Learn how to make stained glass window hangings and decorations using the copper foiled method. This is the method used to make Tiffany lamps and involves joining pieces of glass together with copper foil tape which has been burnished to the glass pieces.

This course is a taster day running from 10am until 4pm and is suitable for those with little or no experience. All tools and materials are provided. The workshops are limited in size to ensure that you get the attention you need to master this beautiful craft. I am based at Digswell Arts but have run courses at alternative venues previously. If you would like me to bring a course to a venue near you, let me know. I am open to any and all ideas!

You will learn glass selection, cutting and shaping glass and how to copper foil and solder the glass together to make a design of your choosing. I have lots of designs available for you to choose from as well as some absolutely lovely glass!

Tea and coffee is provided and there is a break at 12.30 – 1.30pm which gives you enough time to grab something to eat.

I do not have any courses planned at the moment but please do contact me to receive notifications about future Taster Days or to let me know that you are interested in attending. If you have a group of 4 or 5, I am very happy to organise a Taster Day just for you!
