William Morris replica painted glass
My replica and the original on the right.
Replica of the head of Mary - a Morris and Co window currently on display in Cliffe Castle Museum, Keighley, West Yorkshire.
I wanted to try and replicate a different style of glass painting to the medieval styles I had tried before. This was painted using two layers of paint (an oil layer over a vinegar layer) before a single firing.
