Christmas 2009, Tears, Joy and Texting
Glass globe lamp, wire, engraved glass shards, cable ties
Dimensions: glass covered globe - aprox. 280mm (width and height) and including scattered glass shards - aprox. 380mm x 380mm x 280mm (width, depth, height).

This is a work in progress and consists of shards of glass attached to wire with cable ties - the wire is in turn wrapped around a globe which has a light inside it. Some of the shards of glass have words engraved into them which relate to my family xmas of 2009. The finished piece will have shards of glass attached in a perpendicular position covering the entire globe and some engraved pieces scattered around the work.
