In collaboration with The Howard Centre in Welwyn Garden City, I have launched a project to build a hive of lockdown experiences and these are just some of the lovely entries that have come in.
The project is based around my drawing, ‘Hive‘ which imagines households in lockdown. Entrants can download a worksheet and draw their own lockdown experiences. Selected artworks will be displayed in the Hive window (next to Clare’s in the North Mall) and there are prizes for the best images. The worksheet can be downloaded from the Howard Centre website here: https://www.howardcentre.co.uk/community/hive/ Once the entry is completed, it can be emailed in – couldn’t be simpler to take part!
The project is part of a wider initiative to utilise empty shop spaces to engage more people with artwork outside of traditional gallery spaces.
